WARNINGS:
- cassie is an alcoholic. the severity of it depends on what canon point i'm playing her from. she's a heavy drinker, often drinking to the point where she gets blackout drunk and can't remember what happened the previous night.
- cassie started drinking as a child at the encouragement and pressure from her father who considered her his drinking buddy. because of this she has many memories she has misremembered with her father and brother. she and her father were both drunk when they were involved in a car accident which killed her dad and two other people. she ran away from the crash and no one ever knew she was there.
- she often drinks as a way to escape trauma. needing it to help get her through tough situations.
- cassie also has created a "mind palace" for herself to escape these traumas. when she slips into them it sometimes will seem like she's disassociating. but she's usually seeing things from her past or talking to a certain someone aka her subconscious.
